Today’s quote comes to us from that hall-of-fame sore loser, Hillary Clinton.
Here is Ms. Clinton, in Austin Texas, describing what she claims is her reaction to former President Trump’s September 17th rally in Youngstown, Ohio, where he spoke in support of Senate candidate J. D. Vance:
“I remember as a young student, you know, trying to figure out, how people get basically brought in by Hitler. How did that happen? I’d watch newsreels and I’d see this guy standing up there ranting and raving, and people shouting and raising their arms. I thought, ‘What’s happened to these people?
“You saw the rally in Ohio the other night, Trump is there ranting and raving for more than an hour, and you have these rows of young men with their arms raised. I thought, what is going on?”
And what did Ms. Clinton see? What is her “proof”? Here’s your answer.
After Trump said “We are one movement, one people, one family, and one glorious American nation,” this is how some people there reacted:

Does that look like a hitlerian salute to you? Because, to me, it looks like a spontaneous reaction to Trump’s repeated “one” message. (It also looks like how I used to raise my hand in public school if I wanted to be called on or ask if I could go to the bathroom.)
If you want to see an actual nazi salute – arm stretched at about a 45 degree angle, not straight up, with the entire hand extended, not just one finger – here it is:

If you see the same hand gesture there as at the Trump rally, I know a good optometrist….or maybe a good psychiatrist would be more relevant.
I award Hillary Clinton Quote Of The Day (dis)honors for making a truly disgusting statement/comparison…
…secure in the well-learned knowledge that, as a media-entitled untouchable – a Clinton with unwaveringly left of center positions who hates Republicans – she can get away with it. And just about anything else.
