Today’s quote comes to us from Jeff Sessions, the former (and, possibly, future) U.S. Senator from Alabama and Attorney General of the United States:
“It is enraging to think that at this very moment an American citizen is more likely to be arrested for attending church than for fire-bombing a church, if that person lives in a liberal city or state.”
Jeff Sessions wins Quote Of The Day honors because, though I wasn’t impressed with Mr. Sessions’ tenure as Attorney General, he is 100% correct in that assessment of how feckless (or conspiratorial) the people running places like Minneapolis, New York, Chicago, etc. are.
How I wish he were wrong.
Yes Sir Jeff is right on target. We citizens of the Prairie State are the beneficiaries of reckless Radical-Democrats and Anti-American-Advocates. 12.8 million registered citizens are manipulated and taxed out of bounds. A major reason is the NE territory of Cook County with 5.2 million residents, the Political Party power and home base Chicago. The state where bars and pubs are open are more essential than places of worship. Plus legalized Mary-Jane ( and derivatives) for medical and recreational use; the wonder drug sure to relief and regulate people of all problems and eventually another epidemic crisis.
As a Californian I feel your pain Ernie. The government can’t seem to tax us enough to satisfy them, while turning around and giving our tax dollars to illegals. It is beyond sickening.
As for using cannabis, I have found it to be helpful in reliving pain, I hope you won’t hold that against me.
