After the initial primary votes for Mayor of Los Angeles were counted, incumbent Karen Bass was in the lead, with Republican Spencer Pratt solidly in second place, about 41,000 votes ahead of third-place finisher, socialist Nithya Raman.
Now, as the count continues – yes, the California “system” has mail-in votes counted for the next couple of weeks (I’m not making that up, it is true), guess whose lead is dropping?
Pratt has gone from a 41,000 vote lead over Raman to a 37,000 lead. And since the late votes counted for weeks after the election takes place (WHY????!!!!) virtually always massively favor the Democrat Party (what a SURPRISE!!!!), it’s an excellent bet that she will continue to catch up to Pratt; maybe even overtake him…which would put her, rather than Pratt on the November ballot.
Do you smell the stench?
I suspect you do; I live in New Jersey, 3,000 miles away, and I can smell it from here.
More on this as additional “voting” is counted.
