Today’s paragraph comes from “Dr John”, a medical professional in real life (or so the website claims) who writes for floppingaces.net.
Here, from his latest commentary, titled “Never mind insurrection. The left is promising a civil war over their new slaves”, which talks about how Democrats are fighting the deportation of illegal aliens, is Dr.John’s take on why Democrats fight tooth and nail on behalf of keeping illegal aliens in the country:
But it’s clear a new underclass is being groomed. The new slave population. As minorities are coming to understand that democrats really do not have their best interests at heart they are leaning more and more to the right. That leave the democrat party in a fix. What better way to replenish the party than to import millions of illiterate and unskilled illegals and try to make them into dependents who vote D forever.
Yep. That’s exactly right.
In many earlier posts -from over 6 years ago to the present – I have talked about the fact that illegal immigration is going to lose Democrats minority votes – mostly Latino votes. I have lost count of how many times I have talked about unskilled workers coming in and working for less with no benefits, thus displacing first generation legal citizens. I have also talked about the gangs and drug cartels coming into Latino neighborhoods to operate and recruiting the children of legals for their activities. This reality is nothing new.
And I have talked about exactly what Dr. John sees Democrat support for this influx of illegals as being for: the creation of a dependent class, relying on Democrats to give them things…thus reliably Democrat voters as soon as Democrats can get them to vote (legally or otherwise).
Dr. John, therefore, wins Paragraph Of The Day honors for seeing this exactly as it is…with an honorable, if immodest, mention to me because I have also seen it that way for so many years.
