It\’s less than a month to the end of 2015. I\’ll take my chances that no newspaper\’s front page is going to be worse than this one, from today\’s New York Daily News:
I\’m not going to try being diplomatic about this. The people who put this front page together, and the ones who approved it for print, can go screw themselves.
What is their point?
-Is it that man is more powerful than God? Ok, we now know they don\’t believe in God.
-Is it that offering condolences and prayers are cowardly? Yes, that it what they are saying. WHY? Do the morons who thought this front page was a good idea also think that the families of the victims – both dead and injured, some critically – are not praying for them? Do they think those family members are cowards too?
-Is it that legislation (read that too mean more gun control laws) could truly end attacks like this? If they think so, they\’re out of their minds.
The guns syed farook and tashfeen malik killed and injured 32 people with (current count 14 dead, 18 injured) were not used legally. They could not have legally been carried in the street, let alone discharged. So what would additional gun control laws have done to protect the victims, besides NOTHING?
And that is before we get to the fact that farook and malik apparently left 2 or 3 (depending on which report you accept) bombs at the center they did their killing in. Luckily, they did not get a chance to detonate those bombs. If no guns at all had been used, they could have done so at their leisure….and might well have blown up even more victims than the number they shot.
This is beyond sick. And if the morons in question had any brains, hearts, or souls, they would be apologizing and asking forgiveness.
Don\’t hold your breath waiting.
One other thing: the people who are exploiting this horrific attack not just to whine out that we need more gun control laws (that would include every Democrat presidential candidate – whom the Daily News, by implication, must think are very brave to do so), but to go after the NRA as well, can go screw themselves too.
Does anyone in his or her right mind think that syed farook or tashfeen malik were NRA members? Or that the NRA in any way condones this?
rahm emanuel – who has plenty of problems of his own, given that it is largely believed he intentionally withheld the video of Laquan McDonald\’s shooting/killing so he could get re-elected – famously said “never let a crisis go to waste”. This is about as depraved an exercise of that advice as you will find.
