It has been over two weeks since Michael Brown was shot and killed by Police Office Darren Wilson in Ferguson, Missouri.
Given the controversy over this incident, and the eruption of protests both in Ferguson and around the country, would it not stand to reason that there would be a spate of polls in which people are asked their opinions of what happens and where their sympathies lie?
But, as I type this – at about 1:30PM Eastern time on Sunday – if you go to pollingreport.com (subject to change in the future, of course), there is a total of two such polls – and only one of them specifically asks which side of the issue people are on.
Why would this be – other than that our wonderful “neutral” media, which have pushed one side of this story since the incident occurred, do not want to have poll data which point in the opposite direction of their narrative?
If you have another reason that makes any sense at all, I would like to know about it. Thanks.
