A week before the November 4 election, Rasmussen Research, had incumbent Democrat Senator Mary Landrieu 7% ahead of Republican challenger Bill Cassidy. Ms. Landrieu won that round by 43% – 42%, with Tea Party Republican Rob Maness at 14%.
Now, with a little more than two weeks before the two-person runoff election, Rasmussen has Cassidy ahead 56% to 41% – a margin of 15%.
Make of it what you will.
