This week, the US Supreme Court is likely to rule on Hobby Lobby\’s lawsuit, which contends that the company – privately owned by the devoutly Christian Green family – should be exempted from ObamaCare because its requirement that abortion-inducing drugs be available to policyholders is against the family\’s religious beliefs.
I am guessing – not predicting, I don\’t do predictions – that Hobby Lobby is going to win. And through it probably will be 5-4, I would not be surprised if Justice Sotomayor – who is pro-choice, but grew up in a practicing Catholic household – makes it 6-3 by breaking away from the court\’s so-called “liberal” contingent and siding with the majority (as she did when ruling in favor of The Little Sisters Of The Poor Catholic charity).
Again, this is not a prediction, it is a guess. Don\’t congratulate me if I\’m right, or poke fun at me if I\’m wrong.
