It’s nothing new. Mainstream media have a chance to nail Donald Trump for something – this latest “chance” being a few emails from Jeffrey Epstein which say nothing incriminating but can be used to insinuate criminality – and off they go.
From Daniel Greenfield’s short, but straight to the point, commentary at frontpagemag.com:
House Dems dug up three emails involving Epstein which mentioned Trump. The emails were sparse and one of them stated what we already knew, that Trump didn’t want anything further to do with Epstein or Maxwell.
House Dems also specifically redacted the name of Virginia Giuffre, now deceased, who had already said Trump had done nothing wrong, as VICTIM. Virginia is dead so there was no possible reason for redacting her name except to make Trump look bad.
So you can guess how the media covered it.

At this point, I’m not sure who’s sleazier, Epstein or the media.
And then we have chris hayes on MSNBC, doing almost 9 minutes on this “story”:
Here is the video. If you have the stomach watch/listen to hayes start by saying, “Now I should tell you, we have not verified the allegations in any of these emails” – which turns out to be his version of “now I’ve covered my ass, so I can spend the rest of the time trying to convince you Trump was neck-deep with epstein” – which is what he then does, complete with a visual of Trump and Epstein smiling together (yes, they were once friends) and the words “HE KNEW ABOUT THE GIRLS”.
Y’know that last line of Greenfield’s commentary? “At this point, I’m not sure who’s sleazier, Epstein or the media.”? The man has a point.
