Let me start by pointing out that if a show host at Fox News Channel was found to have posted a succession of anti gay slurs on his or her blog, the pressure would be huge, probably insurmountable. to remove that person from his/her show immediately.
The fact that joy ann reid is precisely such a person, but MSNBC looks the other way as if nothing ever happened, and the same people who would have protested/boycotted the FNC host off the air remain silent, tells you plenty.
With this in mind, please be aware that I watched a few minutes of reid’s show this morning. During that time – until I couldn’t take it anymore, I was treated to Reid, and a panel of like-minded leftists, viciously attacking and unmercifully deriding, Rudy Giuliani’s -frankly – damaging, incomprehensible performance in defending President Trump.
It is has been clear to me for a good amount of time that Rudy Giuliani is not the man he used to be. And if this panel wanted to go after somebody in such a manner, the person it should have gone after was President Trump for his bad judgment in putting Mr. Giuliani out there.
But that is not what they did. Instead they declared open season on the clearly less than 100% Mr. Giuliani, laughing gleefully all the way. It was like shooting fish in a barrel.
Here’s something for reid and her pals to think about: Rudy may not have said the right things, but he didn’t go on a tirade of disgusting anti gay slurs. That puts him 1,000 miles ahead of someone who did, and the people around that someone who excuse it, every day of the week.
Shame on all of them.
