Crimea is a part of the Ukraine.
But it is holding a referendum today on whether to become part of Russia….
….which is being held by Russia, whose President, Vladimir Putin – in the course of ignoring Barack Obama as if he were a child – has sent tens of thousands of troops to Crimea and massed 60,000 more at its border while the referendum takes place.
Don\’t expect a nail-biter.

UPDATE: There are reports that the exit polls show 93% of the voters favor reuniting with Russia. No word on whether the polling is being conducted by Russian troops.
What does this mean? Well, for one, it means that 7% of the Crimean population is brave as hell. Other than that, I don\’t know.
