Chelsea: Is it just me, or did Chelsea Clinton’s monotonal delivery, with a slight giggle every 10th or so word, and permanently painted-on looking smile, make it appear she was on drugs of some kind? I’m not asking this sarcastically, I’m serious.
Hillary: An elongated version of exactly the kind of material you would expect her to read (not say, read). One clever, scripted, insincere line after another, with an overriding effort to separate us into groups – gender, race, economic status – and assign “good guys” and “bad guys” status to each.
Needless to say, media are fawning over this genuinely terrible performance, as they have over just about everything which occurred in Philadelphia this week – after condemning just about everything which occurred in Cleveland last week, even as the public gave Donald Trump’s presidential bid a major upward bump.
This presented Mr. Trump with a golden opportunity to show some stature, and to react like a statesman instead of a small-minded, petty, petulant barroom loudmouth.
Dispiritingly true to form, however, Mr. Trump used the opportunity to show he is still the small-minded, petty barroom loudmouth we have seen for the past year.

I think Chelsea did just fine and her job was to introduce her Mother. What I found odd with the three older children of Trump…not one word about Ivana directly or indirectly. Don’t tell me that Donald had anything to do with raising those kids as he was busy chasing women.
Hillary delivered the speech and it was fine. The knock-out was Mr Khan and his wife. Bless them and their sacrifice of their son.
