Yesterday, Tony Bobulinski, who was a close confidante of Donald Trump Jr. and who was in on/knew exactly what was going on with the Trump family business dealings, testified in congress that President Donald Trump was neck deep in a series of influence peddling scams that netted the Trump family millions of dollars.
Did you see a story about that in today’s network news shows? Read about it in your newspaper?
The answer is that you didn’t, because that story is untrue. It didn’t exist.
But what if it had been true? Is there any doubt about how big the story would be/how much network and major newspaper coverage it would be getting today?
Now let me show you a real story – one that actually took place:
Yesterday, Tony Bobulinski, who was a close confidante of Hunter Biden and who was in on/knew exactly what was going on with the Biden family business dealings, testified in congress that President Joe Biden was neck deep in a series of influence peddling scams that netted the Biden family millions of dollars.
Every word you just read is true. That was the testimony. That is what happened.
Now: Did you see a story about that in today’s network news shows? Read about it in your newspaper?
The answer is that you almost certainly didn’t. Even though that story is 100% true.
How do I know this? Because I just checked the web pages for NBC, CBS, ABC and Fox. It was major news on Fox…and not covered at all that I saw on NBC, CBS or ABC. Not even a minor story toward the bottom of the page. Every one of them buried it.
Think about that: a Biden insider testifies under oath that Joe Biden, the President of the United States, was deeply involved in an influence peddling scheme fronted by his own son, and it is not news?????????
Yes, it is news. But these are not media venues; at least not media venues which can credibly claim they provide their viewers/the people who rely on them for news with neutral journalism.
This is far from the only time I have shown just how biased most of our major media are, how completely they are owned by one side of the political aisle. But this example is so egregious it was important to show it again.
Journalism? I doubt those people can spell the word.
