THE BIDEN QUOTES ABOUT TRUMP: A REMINDER

This is a partial – a very partial – list of quotes made by Joe Biden about Donald Trump over the years:

“I’d like to to take him behind the gym if I were in high school”

“If I were in high school I’d take him behind the gym and beat the hell out of him”

“I have one job, and that’s to beat Donald Trump. I’m absolutely certain I’m the best person to be able to do that. So, we’re done talking about the debate. It’s time to put Trump in a bullseye.”

That last quote, in particular, was stated during a phone call to political donors just last week.

I’ve asked this in a previous blog and I’m asking it again now:  if that were Donald Trump speaking of Joe Biden/telling the world a bullseye should be put on him, and a would-be assassin took a shot at him a week later, what do you think our so-called mainstream media would be saying about it?  About Trump?

Any doubt that they’d be characterizing it as a call to assassinate Joe Biden?  Directly blaming him for the attempt?  Demanding he be held to account for it (as they do when it’s a Republican – Sarah Palin’s “crosshairs” ad quickly comes to mind)?

Well, what are they saying about these actual quotes by Biden?  Can you find any ties/connections to them – especially the “bullseye” quote – and the assassination attempt on Trump just one week later?

Neither can I.

Anything you need to know about what passes for “journalism” in these media is told – vividly – by their collective silence.
