When I was younger, we used to joke about the classic henpecked husband whose answer to everything his wife did that he objected to was “I’m warning you”. That, we laughed, was the guy who was going to be doing exactly what his wife wanted, every time.
Little did I suspect that we would have a President using “I’m warning you” as his military strategy, while our enemies operated at will. But we do.

The U.S. on Friday accused Iran of close involvement in attacks on commercial ships by Yemen’s Houthi rebels, stepping up the tone as Washington considers tougher measures including possible force.
The White House publicly released U.S. intelligence as the Iranian-linked Yemeni insurgents persist with ship strikes they say are in solidarity with Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, where Israel is battling Hamas militants.
The White House said that Tehran’s clerical state has provided drones and missiles to the Houthis as well as tactical intelligence.
“We know that Iran was deeply involved in planning the operations against commercial vessels in the Red Sea,” National Security Council spokeswoman Adrienne Watson said.
“We have no reason to believe that Iran is trying to dissuade the Houthis from this reckless behavior,” she said.
Iran is running free in the Middle East. It is arming/training/supplying hamas in Gaza. It is doing the same for the houthis in Yemen. Without Iran, neither terrorist organization could function anywhere near to the degree they are functioning now. Now shipping that goes through the Red Sea (and is crucial for the entire world, very much including the United States) is being directly attacked.
And the response from Biden’s White House? In essence, it is “I’m warning you”.
When Iran pulled this crap on Trump, he sanctioned them every way he could and froze their funds. It paralyzed Iran’s terrorist activity and generated street demonstrations that, if Trump’s policies had continued, might – might – have resulted in overthrowing the mass murderers who have been in charge there since 1979.
But Biden reversed those policies, frozen billions of dollars were unfrozen, oil profits became huge again…and now Iran is again the central source for world terrorism.
I do not want Donald Trump back in the White House. But I assure you the reasons I feel this way have nothing whatever to do with his Iran policy while in office. And the Biden policy toward Iran (and immigration, and debt forgiveness, and a host of other issues) – more exactly, the policy of the hard-leftists running this administration, with the doddering, cognitively deficient Biden as their front man – are unacceptable and inexcusable.
I count the days until he is/they are out of office. I hope it will not be too late to save our country.
