THE BARAK OBAMA BS GLOAT

I’ve made it more than clear that, while I hope against hope the impending “deal” between the United States and Iran is real, I am highly skeptical.

But reading the following gloat-comments from former President Barak Obama, comparing Trump’s Iran deal to his, is truly sickening.

From an article at indianexpress.com:

Former US President Barack Obama has said that any potential deal to end the conflict between America and Iran will not mark a “significant improvement” over the nuclear accord his administration negotiated 11 years ago.

Speaking on ABC News‘ talk show “This Week,” Obama suggested that it would be better to negotiate an agreement that doesn’t fulfil all the requirements presented by Washington so that an outright war can be avoided.

Obama’s remarks come at a time when the US and Iran are closing in on a potential peace agreement to end the over three-month-old conflict that could also reopen the strategic Strait of Hormuz. President Donald Trump has said his administration is going to sign a deal with Iran on Sunday.

Referring to 2015’s Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) nuclear agreement that Trump abandoned during his first term, Obama said, “It is doubtful that any agreement that arises is going to be significantly different or a significant improvement from the deal that we had in the first place,” ABC News reported.

The former president said the nuclear deal signed with Iran during his tenure “worked for a long stretch of time before…the United States pulled out of it.”

Obama’s deal worked?  Trump’s deal isn’t significantly different than Obama’s?  Holy you-know-what.

Uh…a little note to Mr.  Obama:  whatever deal is cooked up this time, however good or bad it is, here are the current circumstances Trump has left Iran to cope with:

-It has no air force.  We blew it to kingdom come.

-It has no navy.  We blew it to kingdom come.

-Though it may still have nuclear material (which you did NOT force Iran to get rid of), it has no currently functioning nuclear capability.  We blew it to kingdom come.

-Most of its missile launchers are either destroyed or damaged.

-Other than the fractional amount it has been able to smuggle out, it has no oil revenues.

-Given the financial straits we have put Iran in, there is no way it is providing the kind of aid to its terrorist proxies, like hezbollah, hamas and the houthis, that it was providing before our military action started.

-And most of its “leaders” have either been killed or are in hiding.

Are we really supposed to believe that this equates to what you left Iran with?  Their condition when they agreed to your “deal”?  You’ve got to be kidding.

But this is politics.  And you can bet there are plenty of people who either bow down to Obama enough, or hate Trump enough, to believe this hot, steamy load.

I pity them.
