THE AWAN SCANDAL: UPDATE

There is more news on the Awan Scandal – the major scandal our mainstream media have done everything possible to bury for over a year.

First, for those who don’t know what I’m talking about – understandable, given media’s intention to keep them ignorant – I urge you to read my blog of August 5, 2017, which lays out the key elements.

Here is a key part of it:

To review:  the main part of the scandal started in February.  Heather Caygle’s February 6 article at politico.com tells us that:

Multiple Democratic lawmakers have yet to cut ties with House staffers under criminal investigation for wide-ranging equipment and data theft.

Imran Awan, a longtime House staffer who worked for more than two dozen Democrats since 2004, is still employed by Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, though his access to the House IT network has been blocked since last week.

Major coverage by mainstream media should have started right there.

But it didn’t.  Instead we were still being fed a steady diet of “Hillary lost because Trump colluded with Russia” – which, to this day, they have not been able to provide one bit of evidence for.  The awan scandal was buried.

Since then, evidence has turned up suggesting the awan brothers (there were three of them), led by imran awan, may have been selling sensitive information to foreign sources.

Now that you have read the above…and, I fervently hope, used the link to read the rest as well…read another of my blogs, which directly implicates Debbie Wasserman Schultz, who was not only neck-deep in this scandal, but was, at that time, Chair of the Democratic National Committee.

And now, with the above information top-of-mind, please read the latest news, via excerpts from Luke Rosiak’s article at dailycaller.com:

Every one of the 44 House Democrats who hired Pakistan-born IT aides who later allegedly made “unauthorized access” to congressional data appears to have chosen to exempt them from background checks, according to congressional documents.

All of them appear to have waived background checks on Imran Awan and his family members, even though the family of server administrators could collectively read all the emails and files of 1 in 5 House Democrats, and despite background checks being recommended for such positions, according to an inspector general’s report. The House security policy requires offices to fill out a form attesting that they’ve initiated background checks, but it also includes a loophole allowing them to simply say that another member vouched for them.

Our media continue to “report” the latest news about collusion between Donald Trump and Russia – despite the fact that there is no latest news to report because there still is no evidence any such collusion took place.

But 44 House Democrats didn’t bother to check the backgrounds of a family of Pakistani nationals with a load of criminal activity under their belts before giving full access to their computer material – classified information and all (read Mr. Rosiak’s entire aritcle and see) – and barely a word about it.

This is more than mainstream media unforgivably shaming itself.  This goes straight to the safety and security of our country.

Luke Rosiak has been a primary source of information about the Awan Scandal for the past year.  He deserves our undying thanks for doing so…just as the “journalist” frauds in mainstream media deserve our undying scorn, and the loss of any credibility they had left.
