Big news today. We found an Obama nominee so hard-left that even a number of Democrats didn\’t have the stomach to pass him through.
debo adegbile, the radical left lawyer who enthusiastically defended cop killing subhuman wesley cook – also known as mumia abu-jamal – had been nominated by President Obama to head the Department Of Justice\’s Civil Rights Division.
That, in and of itself, is enough to make most decent people puke.
But when adegbile\’s nomination came to a senate vote, despite the Democrat majority, his nomination went down to defeat by 52 – 47. Seven Democrats – Bob Casey (Pennsylvania), Joe Donnelly (Indiana), Chris Coons (Delaware), Heidi Heitkamp (North Dakota), Joe Manchin, (West Virginia), Mark Pryor (Arkanasas) and John Walsh (Montana) – voted Republicans to send him back under his rock.
Harry Reid, as you might expect, is busy screaming this is all racism. It has nothing to do with the man himself, you see. Just ask hapless harry.
Sadly, given President Obama\’s track record of appointments, and eric holder\’s racist running of the Department of Just-us, I don\’t expect much in a replacement nominee. The good news, however, is that I can\’t imagine the next one could be worse.
Three more years? God help us.
