You, of course, have heard of man-made climate change (you may have known it as man-made global warming…until it became clear that the earth\’s temperature was not really warming right now, so the terminology magically changed).
You probably have also heard an oft-stated claim that 97% of all scientists support the theory that global war….er, climate change is significantly, maybe mostly, man-made.
Actually, the claim is BS.
But, no matter how many times it is debunked, you still get the leftist stick-it-to-the-corporations-and-keep-that-grant-money-coming crowd invoking it…the most recent example being hard-left lifer and current senior Obama advisor John Podesta, just yesterday.
Want evidence that the claim is BS? Ok. Please read this. And this. And this. All the while, knowing that there is plenty more where that came from. It might give you a hint.
Look, I\’m no scientist. I don\’t know for sure what is happening climate-wise. But I do know that:
-although there are lot of scientists who agree that climate change is significantly man-made (a fact I do not minimize),
-a lot of scientists do not agree with this theory, and are being intimidated and threatened into silence by the hardliners,
-and when one side tries not to debate the other side but to shut it up by any means necessary, every “suspicion” antenna I have immediately goes into full alert mode.
People who can clearly win their arguments do not have to move heaven and earth to squelch the other side. And people who use the BS 97% argument cited above, are not going to convince me of anything.
