In case you had any doubt about the difference – and I am talking about a vast difference – in favorability toward Israel between the Republican and Democrat Party….
…. I think you might be interested in the latest Gallup survey, which measures favorability for countries around the world, by party.
When it came to Israel, the numbers are:
-Republicans: 83% very/mostly favorable toward Israel;
-Democrats: 33% very/mostly favorable toward Israel.
What you just read is NOT a typo. Use the link provided above and see for yourself.
Then wonder, along with me, how Democrats who support Israel, Jewish and non-Jewish both, must feel – should feel – about this disparity. And about the fact that it just might explain the cadre of Israel-hating Democrats in congress (think ilhan omar, rashida tlaib, jasmine crockett, pramila jayapal, etc. ).
How do they reconcile their allegiance to a party that is so dramatically against Israel? That, if if it regains a majority in either or both houses of congress, will almost certainly act against Israel?
I have trouble understanding it; maybe you do too.
I’ll end by pointing out that the Gallup data also show a major difference in support of Mexico – the country that has allowed millions of illegals to come in…and then leave, by crossing our border to become our illegal alien problem, not Mexico’s. 83% support of Mexico for Democrats to 47% for Republicans. Just thought I’d add this to the mix.
