Qatar – a country that reaps major fortunes from oil as it shields terrorist “leaders” from hamas (and probably other places as well) has offered President Trump a luxurious airplane to replace the outdated/almost antiquated Air Force One (which is still being used because Boeing is years late in supplying a replacement).
Trump says he’d be “a stupid person” not to take it.
Is he correct?
The answer is no. Trump is not correct. He absolutely, unequivocally should not accept any gift from Qatar, least of all an airplane.
Articles are quickly appearing which state that there is major backlash against his acceptance of the plane, including many of his supporters.
There damn well should be.
I hope Trump will allow basic common sense to override his monumental ego and rethink acceptance of this gift. Better to ride in an older Air Force One than an obvious bribe attempt gift from Qatar.
