Can you believe it? I just looked at the first page of today’s New York Times, which shows marchers commemorating the 50th anniversary of “Bloody Sunday” in Selma, Alabama, and George Bush isn’t there.

Can you believe he didn’t bother to show up for this? What an insensitive, racist jer……
…..oh, wait. He was there. The New York Times just decided to crop him out of the picture…and not mention his presence until the tenth paragraph of the story, which insured minimal realization by Times readers that he came to Selma.
This is the “paper of record”? What record would that be?
