Last night, during President Biden’s speech at a fundraiser in Minnesota, a “rabbi”, identifying as “Jessica Rosenberg” stood up and demanded that Biden call for a cease-fire in Gaza.
If you saw the video, you probably heard audible gasps and spontaneous reactions when “Rabbi Rosenberg” stood up. But you didn’t see this person from the front, only from behind.

I could be wrong, but the sense I get is that this is one of those people who desperately want to be noticed – so much so that, in an effort to have people pay attention, they do things as outrageously as possible.
I pity people like this. I pity their desperation. I pity their need to make spectacles of themselves so someone will care about them, even if it’s just to notice how absurd they make themselves.
That said, I wish “Jessica Rosenberg” well, and hope he/she/? somehow finds enough self-worth and self-esteem to grow out of this condition.
But I’d lie to say I think it is going to happen any time soon.
