The Middle East is exploding.
Next month, Benjamin Netanyahu – Prime Minister of Israel, which is an epicenter of the Middle East – will visit the United States. During that visit, he has been asked, by Speaker of the House John Boehner, to address a joint session of congress.
But Mr. Netanyahu has not been invited to the White House. And President Obama – in part because he is miffed that Speaker of the House John Boehner “breached protocol” by asking Netanyahu to speak before congress – has made it clear he will not meet with Mr. Netanyahu at all.
With that in mind, please be aware that, yesterday, President Obama sat down for interviews with three youtube.com “stars”:
-GloZell Green (who has distinguished herself by, among other things, wearing smeared green lipstick, sitting in a bathtub filled with milk and Cheerios, then dunking her head into the tub to eat the cheerios, and other similarly decorous activities),
-Bethany Mota (who puts on videos of the clothing she buys), and
-Hank Green (who does videos about nerds).
These three get interviews with President Obama. But he won\’t meet with Israel\’s Prime Minister during a Middle East crisis.
That, folks, tells the story of this man and his administration more clearly than 1,000,000 words I or anyone else could write.
Two more years before this nightmare ends. I count the seconds.
