PLANNED PARENTHOOD: WE DIDN\’T DO IT…AND WE PROMISE NEVER TO DO IT AGAIN

Ken Berwitz

Planned Parenthood, which vehemently denied profiting from aborted baby parts….announced today that it is no longer going to accept money for “fetal tissue”.

Here\’s my favorite part of the article I just linked you to:

The group\’s president Cecile Richards disclosed the policy change in a letter to the National Institutes of Health, which she said was intended to “take away any basis for attacking Planned Parenthood to advance an anti-abortion political agenda.”

“This new policy removes beyond the shadow of a doubt the ludicrous idea that Planned Parenthood has any financial interest in tissue donation – and shows the real agenda behind these attacks,” Richards wrote in a statement.

Holy excrement.  Did Cecile Richards actually say that she is going to end the ludicrous attacks on Planned Parenthood…not by proving the attacks were unfounded, but by no longer doing what Planned Parenthood was being attacked for?

That is the equivalent of Anthony Weiner announcing that to end the ludicrous attacks about him posting pictures of his penis on social media, he\’s going to stop posting pictures of his penis on social media.

This would be a laughable if Planned Parenthood were a right wing group.  The organization would be skewered for accepting all that money – on tape (you know, the videos media keep telling us were edited/doctored – without mentioning that every second of every video has been made available…and which never show you the parts where Planned Parenthood directors are negotiating the prices – not of “fetal tissue”, but of intact organs).

But, as an organization that promotes “a woman\’s right to choose”, and since our wonderful “neutral” media would have you believe that any deviation from abortion on demand whenever and wherever is part of a war on women (you\’re supposed to disbelieve every major poll on the subject showing that over 40% of women are pro-life), it demonstrates nothing laughable at all.

No no no.  It shows integrity. Yeah, that\’s what it shows.  Integrity.

We didn\’t do it….and we promise never to do it again.  Maybe they can use that on their logo.
