Have you noticed that, suddenly, after four years of not giving a damn as millions and millions of people illegally crossed our borders, entered our country, and went who knows where to do who knows what, Democrats are suddenly acutely aware of and insistent upon “due process”?
Or are they?
Here is one answer – the contents of a letter from Arizona’s Governor, Katie Hobbs, explaining why she vetoed a bill that said nothing other than that the state must follow existing federal laws regarding immigration:
“…we should not force state officials to take marching orders from Washington D.C.”????
We are talking about FEDERAL LAW!!!!
What country does this genius think Arizona is in? And when did she determine that state law supersedes federal law instead of the other way around?
My congratulations to the people of Arizona. You elected this numbskull, and you got what you put in office.
In fairness, however, maybe the belated realization of what a mistake you made is why Donald Trump won the “swing state” of Arizona by 5.5% last year.
I hope, for your sake, that it is….and that you remember this veto if Hobbs runs for re-election.
