Here is the latest ObamaCare scandal…that mainstream media are burying as they continue to protect Barack Obama and his fellow Democrats any way they can.
Excerpted from Ed Morrissey\’s piece at hotair.com:
Lastweek, whistleblowers in Missouri alerted local media that anObamaCare facilitator with a $1.2 billion contract paidits employees to do almost nothing … literally.Serco\’s paper-application facility in Missouri had so littlebusiness that employees had to sit at their desks and entertainthemselves most of the day, and the goal set by Serco management hademployees aiming at processing just one or two applications a month.
Asecond local TVstation in Arkansas wondered if the local Serco office had thesame problem. Not only did employees make the same allegations, theoffice is still hiring even moreemployees to do nothing:
Notto be outdone, the original station in Missouri, KMOV, followed up ontheir original story. The work hasn\’t picked up, but nowSerco is paying OT for doing nothing all day long.
KMOVunlocks part of the mystery of this story. Serco\’s contract withCMS requires a particular level of staffing regardless of the workcoming into the facility. If Serco falls below that – presumablymeasured in man-hours on duty – they can lose their $1.2 billioncontract.
Try to wrap your arms around this incredible story. Not only is over $1 billion dollars being pissed away for absolutely no reason, the company raking in this money will lose its contract unless the waste continues unabated. So workers continue to sit around doing nothing, the taxpayer continues to underwrite their free time and – unless mainstream media can bring themselves to REPORT this insanity…
…this latest demonstration that ObamaCare is an unworkable monstrosity remains largely hidden from public view.
A question for you: if this is how incredibly poorly ObamaCare runs, and the VA scandal makes it clear that the health care system for our military is being run at least as badly as ObamaCare, why in God\’s name would anyone want the same incompetent, inept bureaucracy making decisions of any kind about his/her personal health?
I count the seconds until this nightmare of an administration is finally over, and only wish we could replace the Accomplice Media right along with it.
