I watched NBC’s Today show this morning. Its lead story was that FBI informant Alexander Smirnov was arrested and charged with lying about Joe and Hunter Biden getting millions of dollars from Ukrainian energy company Burisma….and that, based on this arrest (not proof or conviction, just arrest), at least some Democrats are demanding that the impeachment inquiry against Joe Biden not go forward.
As noted above, these charges are unproven. But they were characterized as “bombshell” news on Today.
By contrast, the news that, on Tuesday, Tony Bobulinski – one of Hunter Biden’s closest confidantes – testified under oath that, based the knowledge gained via his inner-circle status, Hunter and Joe Biden were deeply involved in selling Biden’s influence as a Senator, then VP, for millions of dollars? It was not reported. Not on Tuesday and not this morning. Not even one second of coverage.
And the 100% suppression of this information is just as true of CBS and ABC as well. Not one word about Bobulinksi’s first-hand knowledge/sworn testimony on any of the three major networks.
Why do you suppose 100% of the coverage is about the alleged lies by someone whose testimony was damaging to the Bidens (again, no proof that Smirnov lied)…
…and zero coverage of someone who is making exactly the same charges, has provided specifics, has not been found untruthful, and who was in a unique position to know it was happening?
This, folks, is today’s version of “journalism”.
Little wonder that, based on the latest Gallup poll data, trust in mass media is at an all time low…and the vast majority of those who do trust mass media are Democrats – i.e. the beneficiaries of the bias shown above.
Will this awful situation change any time soon? I wish I could be optimistic. But……….
