You cannot make this stuff up.
And, as NBC News has made sure, you don\’t even have to.
Excerpted from Kyle Blaine\’s article at buzzfeed.com:
NBC News journalists – including veteran reporter AndreaMitchell – conducted interviews last week with Juanita Broaddrick, the Arkansaswoman who says Bill Clinton raped her in 1978, but decided not to go forwardwith a story, claiming that there was not “anything new” to report.
“When Juanita Broaddrick went public last week, NBC News sentan associate producer to Arkansas to see if there was anything new in herstory. We established there was not, and decided not to pursue it any further,” an NBC spokesperson told BuzzFeed News.
Do these people understand what they are saying?
Donald Trump, stung by attacks on his attitudes toward women – which, in my view are accurate attacks by the way – answered by attacking Hillary Clinton\’s use of her husband Bill, a serial sexual predator, on the campaign trail, and referred to Hillary as his enabler – which, in my view, is also an accurate attack.
So NBC News sends “journalists” to interview Ms. Broaddrick, including Andrea Mitchell.
Why did NBC News interview Juanita Broaddrick? The answer is clearly found in why NBC did not go forward with the story: “…to see if there was anything new…we established there was not, and decided not to pursue it any further”.
In other words, the only reason NBC sought out Ms. Broaddrick was to see if she changed her story – which could only help Hillary Clinton (see, it\’s different now than it used to be, so who knows what the truth is?).
But once NBC learned that Ms. Broaddrick is saying precisely the same thing she has always said, that Bill Clinton raped her – which could only hurt Hillary Clinton (she\’s sending out her accused rapist husband to campaign – the guy she defended not just from Juanita Broaddrick, but all those other women as well – and then tells us every rape accuser should be heard and believed. What a hypocrite)…
…kill the story. Nothing to see here. Move on, sheeple, move on.
This is “journalism”?
Apparently, to NBC News, it is,. But not to me.
