Today I received a letter from the Municipal Court of Perth Amboy, New Jersey, telling me that I am off the hook for the parking ticket I was credited with receiving in January.
I consider this reasonable, based on the fact that I was not in Perth Amboy on that day, have not been in Perth Amboy for a minimum of ten years, along with the fact that the ticket was written for a silver van and we have a Black sedan.
The good folks in charge of parking tickets concluded that the officer miswrote the silver van\’s license number….and the we were the “lucky winners” who had the license number he miswrote.
Anyway, in the immortal words of Shakespeare, “All\’s well that ends well”. Or was it “All\’s well that ends. Welllllll….”
Now if I can convince the IRS that they miswrote my tax bill………..
