Yesterday I blogged about the fact that muhammad al rahman al-shumrani (there are several different spellings of his name), a proud terrorist murderer who has vowed to Kill Americans the minute he gets out of Guantanamo, was let out of Guantanamo by the Obama administration.
I just googled his name and checked the first three full pages. NOT ONE MENTION OF HIS RELEASE FROM ANY MAINSTREAM MEDIA VENUE. ZERO. NOTHING. IT IS AS IF IT NEVER HAPPENED.
The only thing I could find is this listing from the New York Times – which is not an article in the paper, but a site which contains the documentation I referenced in the original blog, and a notation that he was just released. No reference to or commentary at all about the fact that he is a committed killer who intends to continue his killing if he can (which, of course, he now can, courtesy of Obama & Co.)
In other words, if you rely on mainstream media to keep you informed about what Barack Obama and his administration are doing with avowed murderers who are on record as coming for you and your family, you don\’t know a damn thing.
To call this shameful is to grossly understate. But it does prove, again, that when I say that media\’s motto seems to be “keep \’em ignorant and you own \’em”, I\’ve got it 100% right.
Or, put another way, if you want investigative journalism, forget about it. You\’ll have to wait until the day after a Republican is elected President.
