Media manipulation, about the police reaction to New York Mayor bill de blasio. Again.
This time it is ABC News – New York.
Today ABC ran a story which told viewers – correctly – that Mayor bill de blasio was subjected to “many boos and heckles” and catcalls today when he attended the graduation ceremony for new police officers. If the story had ended there, this blog would not be written.
But it did not.
The report went on to say that on Saturday, at slain officer Rafael Ramos\’s funeral “dozens” of officers turned their backs when de blasio spoke?
Yesterday I excoriated the New York Times for claiming that “scores” of officers turned their backs on de blasio, because it vastly understated the number of police doing so. Now ABC News has dropped the estimate from “scores” (a score being 20) to “dozens” (a dozen, of course, being just 12).
What will they do next? Tell us just a couple of officers turned their backs…and only because they were waving at their moms?
Incredibly, even as the ABC News report referred to “dozens” of officers, its own video footage clearly, unequivocally made that estimate out to be a lie.
Look at ABC\’s video. Pay special attention at the :56 second mark, when the funeral footage is shown. You\’ll see for yourself.
How do these people ever expect us to believe them about anything, when they pull fraudulent stunts like this?
