NBC has announced that David Gregory – a serious newsman with a decidedly partisan lean to the Democrat/liberal side, has been let go as host of Meet The Press…and, apparently from the network as well.
He will be replaced by Chuck Todd – not a serious newsman with, in my opinion, even more of a partisan lean to the Democrat/liberal side. And an arrogant demeanor that I find pretty off-putting to boot.
Gregory\’s demise was primarily due to Meet The Press\’s decline in ratings during his tenure there.
I would bet money that the decline will continue with Todd…and might even accelerate.
I wish David Gregory well and hope he lands a new position quickly.
I wish Chuck Todd were not his replacement.
