Did you know that New York City Mayor zohran mamdani intends, if he can, to arrest Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, if he sets foot in the city?
I assume you do, since he’s made no secret of it. But, if not you can read about it here.
Even on the campaign trail, before being elected, mamdani told us that he was committed to making good on an arrest warrant issued for Netanyahu by – are you ready for this – something called the International Criminal Court (ICC).
But there are a couple of problems with mamdani’s wet dream of Netanyahu incarceration.
One of them is that, as a country’s head of state, Netanyahu has diplomatic immunity. That’s going to be a tough one to get by.
And then there is the fact that the ICC is a left wing BS organization that the United States doesn’t even recognize as legitimate. It’s hard to arrest someone based on what your own country does not recognize as a legitiomate legal organization.
Oh, and then there is the fact that mamdani has not told us about his desire/intention to arrest any of the “leaders” of other places where war crimes – real ones – take place. Like, for example, anyone who shows up in an official capacity from Gaza, which actually did commit a major war crime (among many others) on October 7, 2023. Or maybe he’d like to try his luck with arresting Putin, who has run a war in the Ukraine for over four years…and has decimated his own country in the process.
Is it just me, or does zohran mamdani come across here as either a well-spoken moron or someone so full of Israel/Jew hatred that he would consider circumventing the law to prove how real his hatred is?
Y’know….maybe it’s both.
