In case you thought for even one second that the Department of Justice, under Attorney General Loretta Lynch, would in any way be run differently than it was under eric holder, we have this, excerpted from Stephen Dinan\’s article at the Washington Times:
The IRS did mishandle tea party and conservative groups\’ nonprofit applications, but their behavior didn\’t break any laws, the Justice Department said in a letter to Congress Friday that cleared the tax agency and former senior executive Lois G. Lerner of any crimes.
“Ineffective management is not a crime,” Assistant Attorney General Peter J. Kadzik said in a letter to the House Ways and Means Committee. “The Department of Justice\’s exhaustive probe revealed no evidence that would support a criminal prosecution. What occurred is disquieting and may necessitate corrective action – but it does not warrant criminal prosecution.”
So lois “Liar” lerner, who headed the IRS Tax Exempt Division while it systematically excluded groups with names suggesting they opposed President Obama\’s policies, by neither accepting their 501(c)4 applications (which would have given them tax exempt status or rejecting them (which could have been appealed) – in some cases for years, while demanding information (lists of members) more worthy of a police state than the United States, is given a free pass.
See, it wasn\’t that she was intentionally doing this so that these groups were without tax exempt status until after the 2012 election. No, no, no. She was just an ineffective manager. Who she was ineffective with was just a concidence.
This stinks to high heaven, and anyone with even passing knowledge of what has gone on here knows it.
But watch mainstream media bury this disgrace so deep that you\’d have to dig to China, and then launch a rocket ship to find it.
