Gaza is exploding again – because hamas decided to bomb Israel and raise it\’s own body count (to the delight of Israel haters, who can then blame it on the country which reacts rather than the terrorists who instigate the reaction).
Syria is up to about 175,000 dead, and counting – rapidly – while ISIS continues to run its international terrorist-murder enterprise from there;
Iraq is rapidly falling to ISIS, which now has massive arms and military equipment. ISIS also controls a major Iraqi dam, and is in the process of overseeing the death of tens of thousands of Yazidi sect members.
Kurds in northern Iraq will fight ISIS, but are impossibly low on modern weapons and other military equipment – which the USA can supply.
And President Obama? What is he doing about it?
Today he told us that “this is going to be a long term project”, “this is going to take some time”, he has no “particular timetable” and that he is “evaluating” the situation…then went out in his vacation retreat to play a leisurely game of golf.
How many Yazidis will die before he hits the 19th hole?
How many more people will have to die, how many more have to be in danger, and how much stronger does radical Islam have to get, before this President understands that these events do not afford him the luxury of extended time to sit back and “evaluate”, but desperately require an immediate military strategy with an immediate timetable? Or will that interfere too much with his short game?
More than ever, we need a functioning President And less than ever do we have one.
