Did you watch the “60 Minutes” interview this past week, in which Steve Kroft – very unexpectedly, at least to me – took Barack Obama apart and put him back together again?
I know you didn\’t read much about it afterwards. That is, I surmise, because mainstream media, most of which have fawned adoringly over Mr. Obama throughout his presidency, could not have been very happy with Kroft asking real questions instead of tossing batting practice pitches Mr. Obama could knock out of the park, so they downplayed the interview as best they could.
Personally, I didn\’t think I could find much humor in either the Obama interview or the situations being discussed.
But that was before I was told about a youtube.com “analysis” of the segment about Syria, by someone named Elmer Thomas (E. T.) Williams, who calls himself “the doctor of common sense”.
Williams is loud, obnoxious, and not at all shy about using bad language. But he is also funny as hell, and mostly right on target.
Use the link I\’ve provided above and see if you agree.
