KAMALA HARRIS AND THE AL SHARPTON HUSTLE

al sharpton is a race-hustling fraud who has gotten hugely rich on race-baiting and, apparently, selling his public support (or lack of condemnation) to anyone willing to pay for it.

The latest example?  The hundreds of thousands of dollars paid to sharpton by Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign before sharpton gave her a softball/favorable “interview” on MSNBC – a network that should be ashamed of having sharpton as a show host for even one day, let alone 13 years.

From Ryan King’s article for the New York Post:

The Harris-Walz campaign funneled some $500,000 to the Rev. Al Sharpton’s nonprofit, the National Action Network, prior to the vice president’s softball sit-down interview with the civil rights activist.

Vice President Kamala Harris’ team made two donations of $250,000 to Sharpton’s group, on Sept. 5 and Oct. 1, according to Federal Election Commission records.

The cash flow came in the context of payments totaling $5.4 million to various black and Latino activist organizations as the campaign set its sights on galvanizing support among minority voters. The Washington Free Beacon first reported the donations.

Available campaign finance records are current through mid-October and do not yet reveal the Harris team’s spending during the tail end of the 2024 election cycle.

Any doubt about why Kamala Harris got such a wonderful, positive “interview” with sharpton?

But wait.  There’s more.  This is far from the only hustle sharpton is involved in.  Let’s talk about his so-called “National Action Network” – a supposedly pro-Black organization that has existed for a good many years and provided …..(you tell me what.  Give me a few examples) for the people it is supposed to be benefiting.

From Timothy H. J. Nerozzi’s article for Fox News – published two years ago (November 19, 2022):

Rev. Al Sharpton saw a financial windfall over the last year, according to tax filings from the National Action Network.

Sharpton, president and CEO of the organization, received $348,174 in pay through 2021, according to tax filings obtained by the New York Post.

He also received bonuses that totaled an additional $278,503, as well as $22,117 in benefits. That was a significant bump in compensation for Sharpton, who was paid a total of $347,183.

NAN also paid out nearly $1 million on private jets and limos for Sharpton in 2021, according to tax filings.

Add that all up, and you’ve got between 1 1/2 and 2 million dollars that year, for sharpton to live a life of luxury on the backs of “donations” – which, I strongly suspect, are handed over by organizations less interested in the nothingness his organization provides than they are scared to have him as an enemy.

People are wondering how the Harris/Walz campaign managed to blow through over a billion dollars in campaign contributions, wind up an additional $20 million in debt and still lose in an electoral landslide anyway against an opponent who, other than Fox News, got massively negative press, was convicted (however absurdly) of 34 felonies, and was on the hook for a bunch of other (equally absurd) charges by Democrat DAs in four different states.

This kind of payoff – not payout, but payoff – along with other such payoffs (how about $1,000,000 to Harris/Walz-supporting Oprah Winfrey’s Harpo Productions?) might just give them a hint.
