JACOB FREY IS INCITING VIOLENCE

There was a shooting in Minneapolis.  ICE shot and killed a man who, they claim, pulled a gun on them.

It is  time to call for calm.  But here is how Minneapolis Mayor jacob  frey has started his public comments (and believe me when I say that the rest of his comments are every bit as incendiary).

“I just saw a video, of more than six masked agents, pummeling one of our constituents, and shooting him to death.

“How many more residents, how many more Americans, need to die or get badly hurt for this operation to end?”

I have watched the video.  So can you:  here it is.

Based on this video, I do not know what precipitated the action by ICE agents, or what, if anything, the subject was doing to cause them to try to hold him down, or whether he, in fact, pulled a gun – which would have made the shooting entirely reasonable/understandable.

And neither does mayor jacob frey.

But that did not stop frey from using language that can do nothing but incite a potentially violent reaction from the “protesters” he has already allowed to take over the streets of his city.

If he is successful, there will be more violence and, quite possibly, more shootings.

That must be his version of success, since it is the most logical outcome of his words.

Based on this, you can define frey using whichever words you consider appropriate.  To me, “sick bastard” quickly comes to mind.
