ISRAEL “NEUTRALIZES” ANOTHER HEZBOLLAH COMMANDER

There is good news today:  Israel continues to dismantle hezbollah’s leadership.

From Shane Galvin’s article for the New York Post, via msn.com:

Israel has killed the leader of the armed wing of Hamas, Saeed Atallah, in an airstrike in northern Lebanon on Saturday, according to Hamas-affiliated media.

Atallah was killed alongside three family members in the coastal city of Tripoli while in a Palestinian refugee camp, according to local media.

This most recent attack is a continuation of the wave of strikes that Israel has launched across Lebanon aimed at wiping out Hezbollah targets.

Goodbye and good riddance.

Now that we’ve taken care of that,  let’s consider the other side.

Looking at this from the standpoint of the average hezbollah terrorist – especially a so-called “leader” – life can’t be easy these days.   Not with almost all of the top people gone, and the entire communications apparatus (along with a great many of the people you’d communicate with) either dead or incapacitated.

Life was so much simpler when Israel was concentrating on taking out hamas in Gaza.  You could just rain bombs down on northern Israel every day and little or nothing happened.  What fun!

But now?  Now that hamas is down to remnants and Israel is more able to take care of other business?  Another story entirely.

How DARE they escalate!  How DARE those dirty Jews fight back and prevent us from annihilating them and taking over their country!  Who do they think they are anyway?

And then there is the Biden/Harris administration, which is getting more and more upset at Israel’s “escalation” (otherwise known as defending its existence).

What’s wrong with those Israelis?  Why can’t they do the sensible thing and react “proportionately”?  Why can’t they just restrict themselves to sending a few bombs here and there, while leaving hezbollah and hamas intact?  Why are they so insistent on doing more than that?  Why can’t those Israelis learn from us.  Why can’t they learn from our most recent great success in Afghanist….er, never mind.

The above is what Israel has to deal with every day.

I don’t envy them.
