From Ben Chapman’s article for the New York Post (what: did you expect the New York Times to publish this article?):
A Marina Del Rey woman earned a slap on the wrist after she pled guilty to bombshell charges that she paid homeless people on Skid Row to register to vote in a 20-year scheme tied to illegal petition signature collection.
Brenda Lee Brown Armstrong, 64, also known as “Anika,” even let homeless people use her own address to register to vote — meaning mail-in ballots could be sent to her home, a plea agreement obtained by the California Post states.
Armstrong in May took a plea deal for one felony count of paying another person to register to vote in a federal election. On Monday she was sentenced to 18 months of probation and ordered to perform 120 hours of community service by U.S. District Judge Mark C. Scarsi.
Lovely.
20 years of creating fraudulent votes, and California gives this criminal no jail time, just probation and community service.
Yep, that’ll put the fear of God into the voter fraud crow…..oh, wait; there is almost no such thing as voter fraud. Never mind.
Democrats around the country keep telling us that, don’t they? Isn’t that their basis for fighting every attempt to clean up voting rolls and make sure only legitimate votes are counted?
A quick question for you: if one political party is demanding that serious efforts to clean up voting be made like refreshing/cleaning up voting rolls by removing people who have died or moved and requiring voters to prove they are who they say they are before casting their ballots…
…and another party is fighting every such attempt every way it can…
…what does that tell you about which party is committed to honest elections and which party isn’t?
Think about it, and come to your logical conclusion. That should take about a quarter of a second.
