Remember mainstream media\’s collective euphoria when President Obama cut a “peace deal” with Iran, in which sanctions would be lifted in return for the country forgoing its nuclear ambitions and traveling a path to peace?
Wow. What a tremendous diplomatic breakthrough. Weren\’t we lucky to have such a master negotiator in charge?
So how is that actually working out? I mean in the real world?

Iran\’ssupreme leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, all but said on Sunday thatnegotiations over the country\’s illicit nuclear program are overand that the Islamic Republic\’s ideals include destroying America.
“Those(Iranians) who want to promote negotiation and surrender to theoppressors and blame the Islamic Republic as a warmonger in realitycommit treason,” Khamenei told a meeting of members of parliament,accordingto the regime\’s Fars News Agency.
Khamenei emphasized that without a combative mindset, the regime cannot reach its higher Islamic role against the “oppressors\’ front.”
In response to a question by a parliamentarian on how long this battle will continue, Khamenei said,“Battle and jihad are endless because evil and its front continue to exist. … This battle will only end when the society can get rid of the oppressors\’ front with America at the head of it, which has expanded its claws on human mind, body and thought. … This requires a difficult and lengthy struggle and need for great strides.”
This is Iran\’s head of state (the real one, not the “elected” puppet) telling the world, in so many words, “thanks for lifting the sanctions, and now we are going to ignore any deal that dumbbell in the White House thought we agreed to. We are going to do whatever we want. And if you don\’t like it, tough padookies”.
So tell me: when do the media venues which celebrated Barack Obama\’s “breakthrough deal” with Iran going to display at least a minimal sense of honesty and admit that the “deal”, in reality, consisted of Iran getting a desperately needed infusion of capital, and the rest of the world – first and foremost the Obama-led United States – getting nothing but a thumb in the eye?
I doubt you\’ll hear that on the network news or read it in the New York Times. Acccomplice media are accomplice media. But you\’re certainly going to see it here – as you just did.
Truth, not BS. It is a very simple concept…but, apparently much too advanced for a great many media venues, which clearly do not have the capacity to get out from under their fawning adoration for Barack Obama.
Pathetic.
