Readers of this blog certainly know by now that the Democrat Party has a large anti-Israel contingent.
But for new readers – and just in case there is any lingering doubt among regulars – here is the latest demonstration of this animus, from Adam Pack’s article at dailycaller.com, via msn.com:
A majority of House Democrats voted Thursday against legislation that would sanction the International Criminal Court for issuing arrest warrants for Israel’s leadership over the country’s war with Hamas in Gaza.
The bill, known as the Illegitimate Court Counteraction Act, is sponsored by Texas Republican Rep. Chip Roy and 29 other GOP lawmakers. The legislation is headed to the Senate after passing the House Thursday 243-140 with 50 lawmakers not voting.
Every Republican lawmaker that voted either supported the bill or voted “present.” Roy and Republican Florida Rep. Brian Mast, chair of the House Foreign Affairs committee, led Republicans in making the case for the bill’s passage.
There is genocide and terrorism going on around the world. In some places – like Iran, Syria, Libya, Yemen, Sudan, etc. – it is damn near the national pastime.
But has the ICC ever sanctioned any of the heads of state there, or anywhere else, this way? Insisted that they be arrested on sight?
Nope.
Has the ICC ever demanded that the leadership of Gaza – committed in writing to the genocide of all Jews – be arrested? Even after the October 7 massacre? How about abu abbas of the so-called “moderate” Palestinian Authority, who gives monetary awards to awards to families with “martyrs” who have died killing Jews?
Nope.
The ICC is a pathetic joke.
And the Democrat Party, as an entity, is no friend of Israel’s.
