ILLEGAL ALIENS – THE TEREZIN CONNECTION

Last year, when my wife and I, along with another couple were in Prague, we took a day trip to the Theresienstadt concentration camp, more commonly known as Terezin.  In that camp, tens of thousands of Jews died – not by extermination in gas chambers, but by being worked virtually non-stop, with little food and water, until they died.  No problem with the loss, either:  more were being shipped in every day.

Within that camp, we saw a room for camp hygiene that, for 1940\’s Europe, was very impressive – rows of sinks on either side, neatly arrayed, where the interned Jews could wash up, get nice, clean and refreshed, then go out to do their daily work.

In actuality, those sinks were a sham.  A fake.  Jews never were let near them.  It was all for show, so that when international observers were sent to see the conditions of Terezin, they would report back about how well Jews were being treated.

Which leads us to the “camps” currently holding illegal alien minors who are flooding through Mexico into this country based on President Obama\’s apparent promise that they will get a free pass to stay.

Today – possibly as I am writing this – a group of congresspeople are being given a 40 minute “tour” of a shelter at the Ventura County Naval Base in Oxnard, California.

Except…..

Excerpted from Chuck Ross\’s article at dailycaller.com:

Sentto members of Congress and staff by Rose Hacking, of the office ofthe assistant secretary of legislation at HHS, the invitation comeswith the following commands:

Norecording devices will be allowed (We may ask you to leave yourcellphone in our vehicle)
No questions will be allowed during thetour, but questions will be addressed later
No interacting withstaff and children at the shelter
We will provide photos of thefacility after the tour

Duringthe tour, “the tour guide will detail what goes on from roomto room and the services youth are provided on a daily basis,” theemail invitation reads.

Butone congressional staffer invited to tour the facility called theplanned tours “a dog and pony show.”

“Thisisn\’t some totalitarian closed society trying this tactic, this isour own government. They clearly wouldn\’t be offering up this kindof dog and pony show if they weren\’t hiding a very ugly truthsomewhere.”

I hope you understand that I do not mean this comparison to suggest that anyone at Ventura is treated as Jews were at Terezin.

But what I do mean is that the tightly controlled, “see only what I want you to see, and I\’ll tell you about everything else” tour congresspeople are getting today is right in keeping with how international observers were handled there.

What country am I living in?  Until a few years ago I thought it was the United States of America.  Is that still true?  How can you tell?
