HILLARY CLINTON\’S PHYSICAL/MENTAL CONDITION: KARL ROVE\’S POINT, AND MEDIA\’S DOUBLE STANDARD

“Thirty days in the hospital? And when she reappears, she\’s wearing glasses that are only for people who have traumatic brain injury? We need to know what\’s up with that.”:  Karl Rove, last Thursday

Karl Rove is far from the most popular guy around.  Even among Republicans.

But does he have a point?

During last year\’s Benghazi hearings, Hillary Clinton did not appear for four months – after which she famously pounded her hand on the table and demanded to know “What difference, at this point, does it make” how the massacre was perpetrated.

This was a virtuoso performance, if you ask her supporters and her Accomplice Media.  To a great many others, it was a disgraceful, disdainful performance designed to hide her misfeasance before, and during, the Benghazi massacre.

But let\’s not forget about the 30 day stretch – 3 in the hospital, the other 27 in convalescence – when, we were told, she fell, hit her head, and had to be out of commission.

When Ms. Clinton eventually reappeared, was she really wearing glasses typically used by someone who had traumatic head injury?  I can\’t say I know one way or the other.

But here is something I do know.

I do know that there already has been more press for this one speculation about Hillary Clinton\’s health by Karl Rove, a Republican operative, than there has been for months of all the bizarre, irrational lunacies coming from Harry Reid – the majority leader of the United States Senate, who has infinitely more power than Karl Rove ever had the best day of his life.

Among them:  Reid charging that every person – 100% of them – who said he/she was damaged by ObamaCare  was a liar.  And that the Koch Brothers were un-American,  that they were one of the biggest polluters of air and water in the country (they\’re not even remotely close), that they are one of the main causes of climate change (looney-tunes altogether), that Cliven Bundy was a domestic terrorist (who did he blow up, Harry?), etc. etc. etc. etc.  And believe me, there is a ton more where those came from.

See, Harry Reid has the coveted “D” after his name.  So he can go bonkers with regularity and we\’re supposed to smile benignly and say “boy, that Harry, what a card”.

But Karl Rove has the dreaded “R”, so he is attacked immediately and completely for wondering if Hillary Clinton – a serial liar, as the current President, fellow Democrat Barack Obama, pointed out so clearly in 2008 – may not be telling us the whole truth about her injury.

That\’s something to keep in mind, as mainstream media relentlessly go after Mr. Rove for daring to ask a pointed question.

In the immortal words of the Wicked Witch of the West, “What a world, what a world”.
