HAS THERE EVER BEEN A PULITZER PRIZE RECALL?

Next month will be the one-year anniversary of the Washington Post and New York Times winning Pulitzer Prizes for their reporting of Trump collusion/obstruction of justice.

Specifically, the prizes were awarded…

For deeply sourced, relentlessly reported coverage in the public interest that dramatically furthered the nation’s understanding of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election and its connections to the Trump campaign, the President-elect’s transition team and his eventual administration.

Now that we know none of this took place, do the Post and Times have to give those prizes back?

Or will Columbia University, which administers the Pulitzers, put an asterisk next to them?  Maybe apologize for awarding them in the first place?

Oh, wait.  This is Coumbia University.

In that case, forget the whole thing.  The Post and Times might get second Pulitzers.

  • It is a shame that such distinguished awards [Pulitzer and Nobel Peace Prize] have been degraded to the point where they are a joke now.
