Did you expect Harvard to show contrition about the anti-Semitic viper’s nest it has become? Remorse?
If so, your expectations are far higher than reality.

The Harvard Kennedy School is set to host a Palestinian professor who called Hamas’ massacre of Israeli civilians a “normal struggle for freedom,” and said she would never forgive Israel’s government for “making us take their children and elderly as hostages.”
Dalal Saeb Iriqat, a professor of diplomacy and conflict resolution at the Arab American University in Ramallah is set to speak at the Harvard Kennedy School’s Belfer Center as part of its Middle East Dialogues series on March 7, 2024.
On Oct. 7, while terrorists were still slaughtering Israeli civilians in the Gaza envelope, Iriqat justified the attack.
“The world tolerated watching >35000 Palestinian youth seek refuge via territorial waters, putting their lives at risk, choosing to drawn in the sea over their miserable lives in a big prison called #Gaza after 17 yrs Israeli siege [sic],” she posted to X, formerly Twitter. “Today is just a normal human struggle 4 #Freedom.”
Yep, that’s the ticket. Host a talk from an Israeli-hating Arabist….who, based on this article, doesn’t seem to count the fact that Gaza – every inch of it – was GIVEN to its residents by Israel…
…or that hamas, which has run Gaza for almost 20 years, is on record, in writing, as committed to obliterating Israel and killing all Jews – not just in Israel but everywhere else as well…
…and whose UN-run schools teach its children that Jews are the spawn of monkeys and pigs, who will gloriously go to heaven for eternity if they die while killing Jews.
Call me a misanthrope, but I just can’t find a positive way to deal with, let alone share a border with, people like that.
But we’re talking about today’s Harvard University, so none of this seems to count. dalal saeb iriqat will speak at Harvard next month and, if recent history is any indication, will get a very favorable reception.
Just like any political conservative who tries to speak there/provide alternative views to what students are being indoctrinated with (I thought I’d throw that in so we could end with a rueful belly laugh).
