Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) is the House Minority Leader . Not surprisingly, he is opposed to President Trump’s so-called “Big Beautiful Bill”, which appears to be headed for a vote of approval.
So what is Jeffries doing? He is filibustering.
He has been speaking for over 8 hours now, and seems intent on going on as long as he possibly can…
…after which the House will vote on the bill anyway.
In other words, the in-progress marathon rant is accomplishing absolutely nothing except for Hakeem Jeffries making a fool of himself.
Is this really all that Democrats have left? Trotting out their “leader” to act like a petulant child?
How sad. How pathetic.
