Not so long ago, Anthony Fauci pretty clearly saw himself as a revered national hero for his actions during the COVID years. He basked in the glow of what he considered to be his reverential national standing.
But now? Now he is seen, with considerable justification, as a fraud who said one thing about COVID in public and another in private. A fraud whose stated positions regarding what we should have done about COVID hugely damaged our economy and hurt countless people – certainly children who lost schooling – throughout the country.
And his amazingly juvenile performance under oath, pleading the fifth amendment for every question regardless of what it was, made him look like little more than a ridiculous clown.
In addtion, there is a strong possibility that he will be indicted by the Department Of Justice for lying to congress about COVID, and by individual states as well.
Taking all this into account it would not surprise me if Fauci did something terrible to himself. I don’t even want to say what that something is, but expect you can figure it out.
I assure you I do not in any way wish for this to happen. But it would not surprise me if did.
