What a terrific day we had!
First we spent the morning and afternoon with our children and grandchildren, at our older son’s home in Northern New Jersey.
Then we drove our younger son home to Manhattan. But before we got to his apartment, we stopped at Zabars on Broadway and 80th Street (where we loaded up on their great coffee). Then Trader Joe’s on Broadway and 72nd and Whole Foods in the Time Warner building on Columbus Circle, before having dinner and spending much of the evening with him at his West Side apartment.
Every time, I found parking within two blocks!
